Otto F. "Frank" Holloway, 78, of Clarksburg, died Sunday June 20, 2010 at 6:57 p.m. at his home with his family and friends at his bedside. Otto lost a year long battle with cancer and numerous other health problems. He was born on July 3, 1931, in Ross County, the son of the late John C. and Edna Rapp Holloway.
He is survived by two daughters; Joy (Dale) Hartley of Circleville and Amy (Doug) Johnson of New Holland, his former wife, friend and care giver, Marilyn Holloway of Clarksburg, two grandchildren; Cody F. Hartley and friend, Katherine A. Haimerl, Cierra E. Johnson, two step grandchildren; Travis Hartley, Jonathon (Stephanie) Hartley, one step great granddaughter; Sara Hartley, one sister; Mary Butler of West Lafayette, IN He was preceded in death by one brother; Roy Holloway.
Otto was a 1949 graduate of Clarksburg High School. He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army. He retired from Mead Paper after forty years of dedicated service.
Otto or Frank as he was better known, was a highly repected member of the community. He was deeply loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Graveside military service will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort. Memorial contributions are suggested to Adena Hospice 111 W. Water St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
