Paul E. Heins 82 of Beaver formerly of Bainbridge died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the VA Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born July 8, 1929 in Fayette County the son of the late John C. and Saddie Cunningham Heins. On June 2, 2000 he married Betty L. Burroughs, who survives.

Paul is also survived by five stepchildren, James Jackson, Brenda Cole and Bessie Clark all of Kentucky, Charles Jackson of Gallipolis and David Jackson of Beaver; 13 step grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren; and special friends, Ed and Carolyn Walls.

He was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Beverly Cantrell.

Paul retired from the United States Air Force in 1968 and is a member of the American Legion Post 14 of Bainbridge. His favorite hobbie was playing golf.

Graveside services will be held 11 am Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in the Bainbridge Cemetery with a military service accorded by the Ross County Honor Guard. Friends may call from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday (TODAY) at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge.
