Paul D. Kingery, 84, of Frankfort, died at 10:35 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Doctors West Hospital, Columbus, following a brief illness. He was born on Monday, May 1, 1939, in Fayette County, the son of the late Kenneth W. and Annie Slayton Kingery. On Wednesday, June 28, 1961, he married the former Ruth Ann Hurles. She preceded him in death on Thursday, August 19, 2004.

He is survived by his four daughters: Jody (Mark) Norman, Shelby McManus and Ronda Ramsey all of Frankfort and Vonda Kingery of Chillicothe, his grandchildren: Jessica (Pete) Hoey, Matthew (Tristan) Norman, Jeremy (Jordan) and Lucas Ramsey and Michael McManus, great grandchildren: Barrett and Jett Norman and Jaxon Hoey, two sisters: Bonnie (Dave) Maughmer and Karen (Steve) Tatman all of Chillicothe, a sister-in-law: Carolyn Kingery of Chillicothe, brothers: Darrell (Colleen) Kingery of Sarasota, NY, Ronnie Kingery of Frankfort, Keith (Susie) Kingery of Chillicothe, Kevin Kingery of South Salem and Mark Kingery of Frankfort, a brother-in-law: Leroy Chaney of Florida and Paul is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Kenneth (Mary) Kingery, Alice Chaney, Libby (Mike) Miller, Larry (Carolyn) Kingery, Neil and Wayne Kingery, his son-in-law: Clyde "Bill" Ramsey and a sister-in-law, Penny Kingery.

Paul began his career in the Paint and Body Shop business working for Hank Kindler Buick. He then started Kingery Paint and Body Shop in Chillicothe and he later moved his shop to Frankfort. He was known for his excellent skills and work ethic. Paul loved to work on his farm raising goats. Another favorite past time for Paul was coon hunting and hunting mushrooms. Paul will be missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Rev. Ralph Hux officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery in Fayette County. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
