Pearl R. "Bodean" Blazer, 62, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly Sunday June 27, 2010 at his home. He was born on August 26, 1947 in Roxabel, the son of the late Harold and Lena Dell McCoy Blazer. On October 13, 1973 he married the former Nancy Rayburn who survives.
Also surviving are his sons; Jerry A. Blazer of Frankfort, and Richard (Sarah) Blazer of Bainbridge, grandchildren; Jordan, Harold, Whitney, Evan, sisters; Mary Keaton of Washington C.H., Karen Justice of Chillicothe, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister; Mabel "Betty" O'Carroll.
Bodean was a graduate of Adena High School. He served his country proudly during the Vietnam War in the US Army. He was a member of the Joseph Ellsworth White American Legion Post 483, Frankfort.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 1pm in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort with Pastor Jeff Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort where military honors will be accorded by the Frankfort American Legion. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 11 am until the time of service.
