On March 9th, 2022, Peggy went to be with the Lord after a year battle with lung cancer. She lived life to the fullest in everything she did, her family was her number one priority always.
Peggy was a retired truck driver and went on to earn her master’s degree in Psychology. Peggy believed that you can achieve anything with hard work and determination.
Peggy was born in Maryville, TN on July 7, 1952, to the late Rachel Johnson and Clyde Lester Curtis. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, David L. Klontz, Jr.; brothers Larry (Carol) Curtis and Terry (Nancy) McKee; sister Pam Williams; children Barry (Bev) Testerment, Winnie (Eric) Huffman, Rachel (Joel) Sumpter and Larry Testerment, Sr.; grandchildren Jessica (Wade) Ritchie, Brittney (Jeff) Sharrock, Dalton (Brittany) Huffman, Kody Huffman, Eryca (Bryon) Payne; Courtnie Testerment, Ashton Dillow, Sarah Sumpter, Larry (Mariah) Testerment, Jr. and Tarah Sumpter; 20 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
A celebration of life will be held at her home on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 1 pm.
The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
