Peggy Ann Mendenhall

Peggy Ann Mendenhall 72, of Chillicothe went to be with the Lord 8:45pm Tuesday December 15, 2015 following an extended illness. She was born June 1, 1943 in Ross County the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Bobo Dotson. On April 8, 1961 she married George Mendenhall, who survives.

Also surviving are 2 children, Wade Mendenhall of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Angie (Brad) Anderson of Nipgen; 5 grandchildren, Megan, Katie and Hope Anderson, Nick Mendenhall and Amy Mendenhall (Beth); 3 great grandchildren, Peyten, Gavin and Ellee; 8 sisters, Betty Blanton, Phyllis Hollon, Gwen (Roger) Hinshaw, Terry (Bill) Minney, Debbie (Rodney) VanGundy, Melody (Wally) Benner, Chrystal (Jeff) Cooper, and Candy (Dan) Oyer; 2 brothers, Sam Dotson and Chuck (Carlann) Dotson.

She is preceded in death by her son, Brian Mendenhall; sister, Barbara Dotson and brother, Gordon Dotson.

Peggy was a member of Plug Run Church of Christ in Christian Union. Since she gave her heart to the Lord in January of 2010 she has enjoyed working closely with the people of Plug Run Church and has impacted many lives in the community.

Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Plug Run Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor David Marhoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with Peggy's family from 5 to 8 pm Friday at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge.
