Ralph Dickey

Ralph W. "Bus" Dickey, Sr., 86, of Clarksburg, passed away at his home at 3:07 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025. He was born in Clarksburg on Monday, July 25, 1938, a son of the late Paul and Hattie Rinehart Dickey. Ralph married the former Judith Echard, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by one son; Ralph "Chip" Dickey, Jr. of Clarksburg, four granddaughters; Mistie, Lacie, Corie and Caitlin, ten great - grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Bus was preceded in death by one son; Jeffrey Dickey, one daughter; Kathie Dickey, two brothers; Paul Dickey, Jr. and Russell Dickey and one sister; Ruth Karr.

Ralph was a graduate of Clarksburg High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a machine operator retiring from Owens Corning. Bus served with the Deerfield Township Fire Department for several years. He was an avid supporter of both boys and girls sports at Adena High School. He loved watching the Ohio State Buckeyes Basketball as well as any other sport that the Buckeyes were playing.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME in Frankfort. Following the service, he will be laid to rest beside his wife, Judith in Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg. Family and friends can visit with his family on Tuesday beginning at 11 a.m. to the time of the funeral service.
