Richard E. "Dick" Perry, 81, of Hillsboro, died at 12:13p.m. on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born on August 28, 1931 in Nashport, OH, the son of the late Durward and Iva Taylor Perry. On December 1, 1955 he married the former Marilyn J. Ward, who preceded him in death on October 16, 2008.
He is survived by one sister; Elizabeth (Glenn) Chaney of Jackson, niece; Cathy (Art) Setty of Oakland FL, sisters-in-law; Renate Ward of South Salem, Margie (Ralph) Yochum of Hillsboro, brothers-in-law; Donnie Ward of Frankfort, Phil (Kathy) Ward of South Salem, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by one stillborn son; William Edwin Perry, and one sister; Mickey Diane Perry.
Dick served in the United States Navy, and had worked for Waddell Company in Greenfield.
In accordance with Dick's wishes, cremation will take place.
