Robert E. Bell, 84, of Chillicothe, died at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Valley View Alzheimer's Care Center, Frankfort. He was born on April 6, 1931 in Kendallville IN, the son of the late Elmer E. and Thelma G. Nott Bell. On February 16, 1960, he married the former Patricia Ann Wooles, who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Sondra Sharon of Chillicothe, eight grandchildren, Misty Wilt, Daniel Barnhart II, Cindy Burns, Tonya Rohr, Michelle Piatt, Crystal Shalosky, Ron Bell and Tiffany Eudaily. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly Evans, and one son, Clyde Bell.

Robert was a member of the United States Navy, having served during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Chillicothe. Robert had worked as a security officer.

A funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2015 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME with Bishop Doug Brower officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort with military honors accorded by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may visit with the Bell family on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
