Robert Lloyd Hatfield 77, of Bainbridge died 4:40 am Monday, November 30, 2015 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born December 2, 1937 in Ross County the son of the late Delmar and Ethel Carroll Hatfield. On April 5, 1958 he married the former Eileen Meldick, who survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Stephanie Hatfield of Chillicothe; granddaughter, Tessa Rinehart (Jamie Kroetsch) of Mt. Orab; great grandson, Robert Caden Elliot Kroetsch; sisters, Phyllis Sadler of Bainbridge, Sue (Shawn) Wilkin of Hillsboro and Bessie Moore of Columbus; brother, Ronnie Carroll of Rainsboro and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Bob was an Airforce Veteran and he was a member of the NRA, American Legion Post 14 of Bainbridge, and Amateur Trap Shooters Association, Life member of AMVETS #61 and a past member of the Carpenters Union Local 1255 and the Bainbridge Volunteer Fire Dept. He enjoyed golfing, trap shooting, hunting and woodworking but he loved mowing his yard.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Steve Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Bainbridge Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded by the Highland County Honor Guard. Friends may visit with Robert's family from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
