Robert T. “Bob” Templin, 55, of Good Hope, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday morning, October 19, 2021. He was born on Friday, January 28, 1966, in Washington C.H., the son of the late John H. and Ruth Adams Templin. He married the former Rita Sims on August 4, 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Rita, two daughters, Casey (Tony) Beverly, Jennifer (Jeremy) Hart all of Washington C.H., two step sons, Jay Carte and Justin Carte both of Columbus, six grandchildren, Cori, Jase, Georgia, Xavier, Gavin and Lincoln, four brothers, Douglas (Kathy) Templin, Dennis (Teri) Templin of Greenfield, John Henry Templin of Wilmington and Ralph “Woody” (Jeanne) Templin of Washington C.H. Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Lower.
Bob was a 1984 graduate of Miami Trace High School and the Laurel Oaks Vocational School where he was part of the Auto Body class. He work as an Auto Body Technician at Germain in Beavercreek. He loved drag racing at Kilkare Race Track and his number was “366”. He had also been a Volunteer Firefighter with the Wayne Township Fire Department.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 23,2021 in the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield with Danny Dodds officiating. Bob will be laid to rest in Good Hope Cemetery. Family and friends may visit with Bob’s family on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
