Robert D. "SHORTY" Wurzbach
Robert D. "Shorty" Wurzbach 74, of Bainbridge died 7:23 Monday, February 23, 2015 at his home. He was born November 25, 1940 in Ross County the son of the late John and Daisy Campbell Wurzbach.
He is survived by his former wife, Norma Wurzbach; his children, Robert Wurzbach, Jr., Tim (Penny) Wurzbach and Kathy Wurzbach all of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Travis and Clayton Wurzbach, Kyle Long, Chance and Britany Rodgers; great granddaughters, Peyton and Morgan Wurzbach; a sister, Catherine Knauff of Bainbridge; and many nieces, nephews and friends including Nicole Penwell and Mark Clifford.
In addition to his parents Shorty was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Wurzbach; granddaughter, Kimberly Wheaton; sister, Marcella Cowman and a brother, Thomas "Bull" Wurzbach.
Shorty retired from Chilpaco and was an avid logger who enjoyed running his dozer. He was also member of the American Legion and Legion Riders and the Old Dogs MC where he loved to ride his motorcycle.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Bainbridge Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. The Wurzbach family will receive friends from 11 am until the time of service Saturday at the church.
The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
