Rodney Eugene Evans 46 of Bainbridge passed from this life 10 am Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born September 30, 1969 in Greenfield the son of Robert E. and Jeanie Edwards Evans of Bainbridge. On September 7, 1990 he married the former Lynn M. Perkins.
In addition to his parents and wife, Rodney is survived by his sons, Ryan Eugene Evans (fiancAC. Abby Penrod) and Adam Lee Evans; brothers, Johnny Evans (Pamela Daniel), Jason Evans (Candy McDonald) and Jeremy Evans (Michela Daniel); father and mother in-law, Danny and Dorothy Perkins all of Bainbridge; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends including, John Grady, Matt Branscomb, Chuck Burgess and "Cob" Bobby Rose.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Seth and Iva Evans and William and Marguerite Edwards.
Rodney was a 1988 Graduate of Paint Valley High School. He worked at Greenfield Research for many years and he operated a sawmill and butcher shop. He also enjoyed his cattle and fishing.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Beech Flats Church on Pine Top Rd. Burial will follow in Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with Rodney's family from 5 to 8 pm Friday at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge.
