Roger Warren Carroll

Roger W. Carroll, 64 of Bainbridge died Saturday, May 25, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 29, 1948 in Pike County the son of the late Warren and Catherine Sylvester Carroll. He married Karen Rayburn, who preceded in him in death.

He is survived by a son, Steve Carroll (Carol Patterson) of Greenfield; two grandsons, Roger Carroll of Greenfield and Joshua Carroll of Rainsboro; sister, Judy (Fred) Steiner of Tennessee and his close friends, Ronnie and Joyce Benner and Ronnie Carroll.

In addition to his parents and wife, Roger was preceded in death by three brothers, Randy and Gary Carroll and Butch Sylvester.

Roger was an Army Veteran of Vietnam and was a member of the American Legion Post 14 of Bainbridge and a member of the VFW.

Family and friends are asked to gather at 11 am Monday, June 3, 2013 in the Cynthiana Cemetery for a graveside service with Don Thomas officiating and a military service accorded by the Ross County Honor Guard. Friends may call from 3 to 5 pm Sunday at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge.
