Ronald L. Evans

Ronald L. Evans, 57, of Frankfort, died at 6:15 p.m. on Sunday Feb. 6, 2011 at his residence. He was born on Sept. 8, 1953 in Logan WV , the son of the late Harmon R. and Zelma I. Gollihue Evans. He married the former Linda Richmond on June 16, 1990 and she survives.



Also surviving are three daughters; Lisa Evans (Chuck Robertson) of Louisa, KY, Bobbie (Steve) McCumber of Marion, OH, Juanita (Derek) Constable of Frankfort, three sons; Shawn (Jackie) Richmond, Shannon Richmond, Jeffery "Bo" ( Rachel) Richmond all of Frankfort, twenty grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters; Brenda McKinney of Logan WV, Debbie Lester of Mansfield, four brothers; John Evans of Columbus, Johnny Vance of Hopkinsville, KY, Butch Evans of Logan, WV, Larry Evans of Mansfield and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter.



Ron was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Ron worked at Sign Strut and worked locally at the former Bob's Sunoco. He was a former member of the Clarksburg Church of the Nazarene.



Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Paul Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. to the time of service.
