Ronald Hugh Thatcher

Ronald H. Thatcher, 70, of Circleville, died at 6:45p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2012 at his home. He was born on June 27, 1941 in Otway Ohio, the son of the late Glenn and Dorothy Hudson Thatcher. On June 12, 1965 he married the former Frances Rawlings who survives.

Also surviving are three children; Angie (Brian) Willis of Laurelville, Julie (Jason) Bowers of Columbus, Brian (Melinda) Thatcher of Circleville, seven grandchildren; Seth, Katie Willis, Jenna, Jesse Bowers, Abigail, Wyatt, Leah Thatcher, sister; Bonnie (Tom) Rucker of Washington CH, brother; David (Karen) Thatcher of Angola IN, brothers-in-law; Jim (Judy) Zimmerman, Dan (Linda) Rawlings, special friend; Bill (Lynn) Robinson of Nashville TN, sisters; Clarice Carl, Pam Heflin, and Judy Garrison.

Ronald was a 1961 graduate of Clarksburg High School. He retired from Dupont, where he worked in maintenance. He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church, Circleville and loved to hike and golf.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2012 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Berry Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5 - 8 p.m..
