Ruby B. Clouser, 92, of Greenfield, died Thursday morning, Sept. 29, 2011 at Edgewood Manor, Greenfield. She was born at Harrison County, Cynthiana, KY on September 21, 1919, the daughter of the late Grover and Hazel Wagoner Wagoner. On June 13, 1938 she married Heber "Pete" Clouser who preceded her in death on April 26, 1997.
She is survived by two daughters; Jean Newkirk and Emily Evans (Donald Truman) all of Hillsboro, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, two sisters; Helen Paul of Greenfield, Pauline Chaney of Richmond, IN four brothers; Stanley, Ed, Bill Wagoner all of Bainbridge and Harold Wagoner of Winchester, OH as well as several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Carolyn Bell.
Ruby was a loving mother and grandmother and had a passion for cooking and her hand made quilts, which are all over the United States. She was an avid NASCAR and Tony Stewart fan. She was life long member of the Wagoner's Chapel at Cynthiana, KY.
Relatives and friends are asked to attend a graveside service on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. at South Salem Cemetery where Rev Dennis Brewer will officiate. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Activities Fund at Edgewood Manor, 850 Nellie St., Greenfield, OH 45123.
