Ruth Elnora Elliott

Ruth E. Elliott, 72, of Bainbridge, died on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at her home. She was born on November 12, 1941, in Morgantown OH, the daughter of the late Roy O. and Flossie I. Mitchell Yoakem. Her husband, Jerry Elliott, survives.

Also surviving are her two children, Tim Yoakem of Westerville, and Teressa Anderson-Harris of Roswell NM, three grandchildren, Casey and Nicholas Harris, and Emily Anderson, one sister Sally Bowles of Bainbridge, and one brother, Myron Yoakem of Bainbridge and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters and seven brothers.

Ruth was a member of the Rainsboro Church of Christ and had worked as a secretary for the Service for the Blind.

Funeral service will be held at 5p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 in the Rainsboro Church of Christ, with Scott Sheridan officiating. Friends may visit with the Elliott family on Saturday from 3p.m. until the time of service. In accordance with Ruth's wishes, cremation will follow the service.
