Ruth R. Peterson, 77, of Frankfort, died on Monday, September 6, 2010 at her home. She was born on January 27, 1933 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Rufus T. and Geraldine A. Buchanan Riehle. On July 29, 1951 she married Calvin W. Peterson who survives.
Also surviving are her daughter; Cathy (Eric) Givens, son; John C.(Sheri) Peterson, both of Frankfort, grandchildren; Kyle Ater, Ryan (Bethany) Givens, Justin (Kristina) Peterson, Daren Givens, Damon (Whitney) Givens, and Megan Peterson, sister; Margery Speakman of Washington C.H.. She was preceded in death by two daughters; Cindy Lou and Joni Peterson.
Ruth was a 1951 graduate of Unioto High School. She was a member of the Frankfort Presbyterian Church and attended the Brookside Seniors.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 9 in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday (today) from 4 to 8 p.m..
