Ruth Jane Riehle

Ruth Jane Riehle 89, of South Salem died 8:40 am Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born December 6, 1923 in Urbana, the daughter of the late Bryan and Ollie Smith Wisecup. On July 6, 1950 she married Robert F. "Bob" Riehle, Sr. who died June 12, 1991.

She is survived by her children, Robert F. Riehle, Jr. and Lynden B. (Amy) Riehle both of South Salem and Lane T. Riehle of Chillicothe; grandson, Nicholas Riehle of Chicago, IL; four sisters, Margaret "Mag" Haynes and Dorothy Scheeler both of Greenfield, Jennie Cockerill of Frankfort and Barbara "Sissie" Miller of Xenia; two brothers, Frank (Elma) Wisecup of South Salem and Charlie (Sandy) Wisecup of Alamogordo, New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brandy Riehle; sister, Mary Bolder; and two brothers, William "Bill" Wisecup and Robert Wisecup.

Ruth loved to listen to her country music.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Monday, March 4, 2013 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
