Sandra Sue Young

Sandra Sue Young 84 “Queen of Nipgen” went to be with her Lord Friday, January 19, 2024, from Bristol Village, Waverly. She was born Sunday, April 2, 1939, in Chillicothe to the late Harry and Frances (Cooper) White. On Friday, November 17, 1967, she married Charles A. Young who passed from this life on Saturday, March 6, 1999.

Sandy is survived by her son Faron (Jo Ellen) Young; daughter-in-law Debbie White; grandchildren Heather White, Bethany (Melvin) Auker, Jennifer White, Tiffany White and Anna Young; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends including Phyllis Cooper, Carol Curtis and Ruthie Beavers.

In addition to her parents Sandy was preceded in death by her son Craig White; great grandson Isaiah Auker; sister Glenda Morris and brothers Larry Curtis, Garrett White, Fred White and Joe White.

Sandy was a member of McKibben Chapel but in recent years she attended churches that were closer to where she lived. She enjoyed working in her yard and she had the gift of gab. 
 
 Funeral services will be held 1 pm Friday, January 26, 2024, at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME of Bainbridge with Rev. David Maughmer officiating, and the burial following in the Pennisten Cemetery. Friends may call from Noon until the time of service on Friday at the Funeral Home.
