Sarah Anna Esh

Sarah Anna Esh, 39, was carried by the angels to Heaven on May 20, 2013 at the home of her sister, Martha (Dave) Schwartz, family of Frankfort, OH, following a six month battle with cancer.

She was born May 23, 1973 to Daniel and Caroline (Stoltzfus) Esh in Lancaster, PA.

She is survived by her parents of Wallingford, KY, three sisters; Martha (David) Schwartz of Frankfort, OH, Susan (Moses) Schwartz of Frankfort, OH, and Ada Ruth (Tony) Suarez of Rutherford, TN, four brothers; Ervin (Esther) Esh of Harrodsburg, KY, Stephen (Martha) Esh of Dickson, TN, Leon (Nancy) Esh of Wallingford, KY, and Alvin (Sue) Esh of Aroda, VA. She is also survived by paternal grandmother, Susie Esh of Ronks, PA. She was dearly loved by 37 nieces and nephews, two great nephews, and one great niece.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Melvin and Fannie Stoltzfus, paternal grandfather; Jacob Esh, and nephew Bryan Glen Suarez.

She was a faithful member of Greene County Mennonite Church. She taught school there a number of years and spent four years as a missionary in Kenya, Africa. She was also a friendly worker at Mountain View Bulk Foods and later at Yoder's Country Market.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 10 A.M. at Greene County Mennonite Church, 3625 Chuckey Pike, Chuckey, TN with burial in the church cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Wednesday at the church.
