Shawn C. Richmond

Shawn C. Richmond, 45, of Chillicothe, died Wednesday morning, on March 18, 2020 at OSU Wexner Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Wednesday, January 29, 1975 in Columbus, the son of Ronald and Linda Evans. On June 4, 2015 he married Marla S. Richmond, and she survives.

Also surviving are Shawn’s mother, Linda Evans, eleven children, Shawn C. Richmond, Jr., Seth Richmond, Elijah Richmond, Chasity Richmond, Christopher Richmond, Cheyenne Richmond, Angel Richmond, Trisha Salyer, Desarae Reyes, Schevone Salyer, Tylor Salyer, three grandchildren, Addelyn, Julian, Xavier, three sisters, Tina Richmond, Bobbie McCumber, Juanita Constable, two brothers, Shannon Richmond, Jeffrey “Bo” Richmond, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Shawn grew up in the Clarksburg Church of the Nazarene. He was loved by many, and he will be dearly missed.

Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, a private funeral service for Shawn will be held at the convenience of his family. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. A memorial service for Shawn will be held at a later date. Contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist in expenses.
