Shirley Lee Brewer

Shirley Lee Brewer 77 formerly of Cynthiana passed from this life 12:18 pm Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born June 5, 1940 in Ross County the daughter of the late William J. and Mildred P. (Jenkins) Skaggs. On May 11, 1963 she married Wilbur L. Brewer, who passed away in September 2005.

She is survived by her children Jeff Brewer, Trena Fenner and Scott Brewer; grandchildren, Brandon, Zach, James and Jason; sisters, Bertha Evans and Rozella (Ron) Jenkins; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, Justin Bowman and Cory Legg.

In addition to her parents and husband Shirley was preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy and Kathleen Holbert and brothers, Jay and James Skaggs.

Shirley enjoyed watching humming birds and mushroom hunting, when she was able.

Graveside services will be held 10 am Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Cynthiana Cemetery with Mike Shoemaker officiating. There will be no calling hours and Shirley has requested no flowers.  The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
