Shirley Louise Jenkins
Shirley L. Jenkins 67 of Cynthiana died Thursday, April 12, 2012 peacefully at her home. She was born November 24, 1944 in Highland County the daughter of the late Clay and Lucy Ann Gibson.
She is survived by her husband, John Jenkins, whom she married in 1994; daughters, Becky (Donnie) Rose of Bainbridge and Tracy (Denny) Swayne of Peebles; step children, Wayne (Joyce) Jenkins of Hillsboro, Robert (Melissa) Jenkins of Greenfield and Tammy (Clarence) Jenkins-Pettiford of Frankfort; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Frost, five sisters and two brothers.
Shirley retired from Lawshe Nursing home in Peebles after 30 yrs and she enjoyed her flowers, dolls, animals and her grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Hope of Maysville, KY for their services and wonderful care.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge, with Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Cynthiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
