Shirley A. Subora, 77, of Frankfort, died on Sunday afternoon, November 1, 2015, at The Vineyards at Concord, Frankfort. She was born on May 16, 1938 in Athens county , the daughter of the late Donald and Anna Gertrude Nichols Bryan. On July 3, 1957 she married Henry L. Subora, Jr. and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2013.
Surviving are her children, Henry (Goldie) Subora III of Frankfort, Elisabeth Ingram of Chillicothe, grandchildren, Mark and Jackie Subora, Lori and Tony Vandermark, and Andrew Subora, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Betty Francis Subora, one son, David Subora, one grandson, and two half-brothers.
Shirley had briefly served in the United States Air Force and later worked as a nurse at the VA Hospital, Chillicothe. She enjoyed knitting.
In keeping with Shirley's wishes cremation will take place.
