Stan Patrick Matson

Stan Patrick Matson 48 of Bainbridge died 9:10 pm Saturday, September 27, 2014 at his home. He was born May 6, 1966 in Fayette County to the late James Matson and Ethel Payne Beverly.

He is survived by his wife Sherri Lynn Walls Detty Matson; three children, Brittany (Johnny) Price, Berman Caleb (Emma) Detty and Gabrielle Detty and fiancAC. Chris Brown; grandchildren, Trevon, Dylan, Kiersten and Raelynn; sister, Jane (Phil) Moon and brother, James (Jamie) Matson.

Patrick was an Army Veteran and a really intelligent man who loved to work on antiques and Saabs. He liked to play his games, read, play guitar and he liked wood carving. He also was most relaxed when playing with his grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 3 pm Thursday, October 2, 2014 in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Potts Hill Rd., Bainbridge, with Rev. Sammie Cooper officiating. A military graveside service will be accorded by the Ross County Honor Guard. No calling hours will be observed.
