Stanley Eugene Williamson

Stanley Eugene A"BuckA" Williamson 69 of Peebles died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at his residence. He was born September 22, 1940 in Pike County the son of the late James and Melva Wilson Williamson.



On November 16, 1960 he married the former Rosemary Knisley, who survives.

He is also survived by a sister, Karen Hargett of Cynthiana and a brother, Larry Williamson of Hillsboro.



He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Freddie and Bobby Williamson.



Buck was an Army veteran of Vietnam, he was a member of the AMVETS Post 61 of Hillsboro and the American Legion Post 14 of Bainbridge. He retired from Batesville Casket Co. after 25 years of service.



Funeral service will be held 1 pm Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home, Bainbridge with John Shoemaker presiding. Burial will follow in the Lapperell Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
