Stuart Allan "Stu" Shaffer

Stuart A. Shaffer, 57, of Frankfort, died at 9:10 a.m. on Wednesday July 31, 2013 in Regency Manor, Columbus. He was born on December 20, 1955 in Ross County, the son of Ivan and Marian Temple Shaffer. He married the former Rhonda Hill on September 3, 2005 and she survives.

Also surviving are his father, Ivan Shaffer of Chillicothe, one daughter; Samantha (David) Loel of Huber Heights, step children; Scott Crace of Utah, Tony (Crystal) Crace of Panama City, FL, Tara Crace of Gallipolis, OH, one soon to be born grandchild, three grandsons, two brothers; Douglas B. (Barbara) Shaffer of Chillicothe, Scott M. (Cathy) Shaffer of Frankfort, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Roy and Faye Hill of Frankfort. He was preceded in death by one son; Christopher Shaffer and his mother, Marian Shaffer.

Stuart was a 1975 graduate of Adena High School. He was a truck driver with Teamster Local 957, Springfield. Stu was an avid motorcyclist and NASCAR fan. He was a loyal OSU fan and loved the outdoors especially hunting all over the country.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11 a.m. at EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Rev. Sandy Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Concord Township EMS, PO Box 616, Frankfort OH 45628.
