Teresa Lynn Johnson

Teresa Lynn “Teri” Johnson 65 of Bainbridge passed in her sleep early Saturday, April 12, 2025. She was born on Saturday, June 20, 1959, in Chillicothe the daughter of the late Shirley (Carter) Kriebel and Jim Rummell. In addition to her parents Teri was preceded in death by her stepfather Dwane Kriebel; Grandmother Elsie Carter; brother Stanley Thompson and niece Melissa King.

Surviving are two daughters Meghan Wheeler of Bainbridge and Malea (Tyler) Smittle of Frankfort; five grandchildren Karley, Layne, Avery, Rylan and Remy; her friend and former spouse Paul Johnson; stepmother Sue Holdren; four sisters Melody Thompson, Joy (Mike) Colopy, Brooke (Glenn) Detty and Mindy (Cory) Summar; one brother Danny (Pam) Thompson and several nieces and nephews.

Teri retired from Walmart Distribution and enjoyed working in her yard, where she would grow all kinds of flowers. She also enjoyed crocheting.

A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 7pm, Monday, April 21, 2025, SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge.
