Thelma I. "Tiny" Free-Holbert

Thelma I. “Tiny” Free-Holbert 85 of Bainbridge passed from this life 8:10 am Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Signature Healthcare of Chillicothe. She was born April 23, 1931 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late LeClede and Cora Anna Smith Hill. 

Tiny was preceded in death by her husbands, Louis “Dewey Free and John B. Holbert; her son, Mike Free; sister, Helen Andrew and a step daughter, Jane Strausbaugh.

Tiny is survived by her children, Judy (Max) Shoemaker, Debbie (Tom) Davis and Eddie (Kathy) Free; daughter-in-law, Trit Free; step children, John Holbert, Joel (Cathi) Holbert, Jean (Bill) Whitehouse and Rob Holbert (Mistie); 15 Grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; nieces,  Cindy Cordell and Ann Plymesser; and many friends

Tiny was a member of the Rainsboro Church of Christ. A past member of the Order of Eastern Star, The Paxton Life Squad and Sweet Adeline’s.  Tiny was a Cincinnati Reds fan and she liked doing puzzles and fishing.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, at the Bainbridge Church of Christ with Sean Cockrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.  Friends may visit with Tiny’s family on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the church. The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
