Thelma Lucille Tranner

Thelma L. Tranner, 65, of Washington Court House, died at 12:05a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2015, at her home. She was born on July 27, 1950 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Arthur and Edna Mitchell Pettiford. On March 22, 1970 she married Thomas Tranner, who preceded her in death on September 28, 2013.

She is survived by one son, Ronnie Pettiford of Frankfort, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mary Hicks of Columbus and Violet Frisbie of Chillicothe, one brother, Wallace Pettiford of Chillicothe, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and her Hospice of Fayette County Hospice family. She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

Thelma had worked as a nurse's aide.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Kay Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may visit with the Tranner family at the funeral home on Saturday from 10a.m. until the time of service.
