Thomas Eugene Merritt

Thomas Eugene Merritt, 51, of Greenfield, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, May 22, 2014 at his home. He was born April 29, 1963 in Greenfield the son of David and Cleda Stapleton Merritt.
He is survived by his parents, David and Cleda Merritt of London, KY, five children; Jennifer Merritt (J.C. Combs) of Greenfield, Benjamin Brown(Lisa Adams) of Bainbridge, Sara Kelley of Waverly, Samuel Merritt of Aurora, CO, Dylan Smith of London, KY, six grandchildren, two sisters; Patricia (Chris) Jenkins of Indianapolis, IN, Brenda Sullivan of Corbin, TN and one brother; Leroy Merritt of London, KY. He was preceded in death by one brother; David Merritt
Tom was a member of the Pilgram of the Nazarene Church.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 1 p.m. in the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield with Pastor Ryan Bevan officiating. Burial will follow in Gilboa Cemetery, New Petersburg. Friends can visit with the Merritt family on Tuesday from 11 a.m.. to the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
