Thomas D. Smith

Thomas D. Smith, 88, of Chillicothe, died Tuesday , Oct. 11 2011 at Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born February 19, 1923 in Pickaway County,the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Byrd Smith. He married the former Marian Bernard on June 13, 1984 and she survives.

He is survived by one daughter; Miceala Smith of Chillicothe, one sister; Margie (Jerry) Robertson of Chillicothe, one brother; Frank Smith of Rosemont, Fl, a former brother-in-law; Lee Harris of Detroit, MI, two sisters-in-law; Ilo (Ron) Rush of Frankfort, Mary (Russell) Gilmore of Circleville, two brothers-in-law; Ira and Billy Bernard of Frankfort, several nieces and nephews and special friends, George and Alice Slater of Chillicothe.

Tom had worked as a driver for Donato's Pizza and was a member of the Frankfort Church of Christ.

Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Frankfort Church of Christ with Harold Rutledge officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
