Thomas Joseph Tranner

Thomas J. Tranner, 63, of Washington C.H., died at 2 a.m., on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at St. Catherine's Manor, WCH. He was born on December 22, 1949 in Delaware OH, the son of the late Alvie and Margaret Ruth Johnson Tranner. On March 22, 1970 he married the former Thelma L. Pettiford, his wife of 43 years, who survives.

Also surviving are one step son, Rondel Pettiford of Frankfort, 5 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, one sister Lynn Lytle of Columbus, and one brother James D. Tranner of Jeffersonville. He was preceded in death by one sister, Linda, and an infant brother.

Thomas worked as a farmer.

Family and friends are asked to gather at Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort for a graveside funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, with Chaplain Jim Kiger officiating.
