Tyler James Shoemaker

Tyler James Shoemaker 26 of Waverly passed from this life Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from complications of dialysis. He was born August 1, 1996, in Portsmouth the son of Tony Shoemaker and Judy Bray.

Tyler is survived by his mother Judy (Tony) Roach; daughter Khali Shoemaker; sister Carissa Bray and her husband Nate Posey; brother Jenson Shoemaker; nieces and nephews Blayne, Dalayni, Brylee and Dallas; grandmother Rita Shoemaker; grandfather Albert Bray;  and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In addition to his father Tyler was preceded in death by grandmother Thelma Bray; grandfather William Shoemaker; uncle Jonathon Bray and cousin Trenton Knapp.

Tyler enjoyed spending time with his daughter and friends. He was the kind of person that always wanted to be on the go. He loved to wheel and deal as well as collect locks and safes.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. Following the service Tyler will be laid to rest in the Twin Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends on 11 am until the time of service on Saturday.
