Virgil L. "Buck" Flannery

Virgil L. "Buck" Flannery, 82, of Frankfort, died Saturday afternoon, November 13, 2010 at Heartland of Chillicothe. He was born on April 19, 1928 in Washington CH, the son of the late Lonnie and Sallie Brown Flannery. On November 10, he married the former Sharon Sheets who survives.



Also surviving are his children; Virgil "Rusty" (Kathy) Flannery of Frankfort, Carmen Angeline Flannery of Phoenix AZ, Terry (Nellena) Flannery of Frankfort, Ronald (Holly) Flannery of Tucson AZ, Diana (Jeff) Curry of Frankfort, Roger (Jo Ellen) Flannery of Savannah GA, 22 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, brother; James Flannery of Chillicothe, several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to the caregivers at Heartland, Life Ambulance and Concord Township EMS. He was preceded in death by a son; Marvin Flannery, seven sisters and two brothers.



Buck was a member of Brookside Church, Chillicothe, and an honorary member of Concord Township EMS.



Funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, November 18, 2010 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, FRANKFORT. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home.
