Virginia Francis Crago

Virginia F. Crago, 86, of Frankfort, died at 6:28 a.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the Vineyards at Concord, Frankfort. She was born on September 19, 1927 in Pike County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Purl and Amanda Claytor Brown. On December 25, 1946 she married her husband of 67 years, Kenneth N. Crago, who survives her.

She is also survived by their children; Janice Crago of Frankfort, Kenneth J. (Debra) Crago of Frankfort, Jerry (Sharon) Crago of Canal Winchester and Sharon (Rick) Corley of Arkansas, nine grandchildren; Melissa Davis, Robert Hall, Amy Crago, Laura Crago, Kenneth Crago, Andrea Morgan, John Crago, Heidi Mandelkorn and Amanda Blizzard and numerous great grandchildren, four sisters; Donna (Mervin) Crago of Frankfort, Marjorie Adams of Chillicothe, Kathrine (Berlin) Butterbaugh of Waverly, Linda (Marvin) Seymour of Chillicothe, one brother; Purl (Nancy) Brown of Kingston. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by four brothers, Horace, Robert, Ernie and Norman Brown, and two sisters; Mary Flesher and Winona Graham.

Virginia was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She had also worked as nurse's aide.

Virginia's family will receive friends on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 5p.m. at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. The funeral service will begin at 5 p.m. with Pastor Chris Van Buskirk officiating. Cremation will follow and burial of the cremains will be at the convenience of the family.
