Virginia M. Cremeans

Virginia M. Cremeans 76 of Bainbridge passed from this life Sunday, January 20, 2019 at her home. She was born February 6, 1942 in Urbana, Ohio the daughter of the late Earl and Hazel Boyer Gilbert.

She is survived by her children, Billy (Petra) Cremeans and Welma Cremeans both of Bainbridge, Robert (Lisa) Cremeans of Colorado, Carl (Chris) Cremeans of Stoutsville and Charlotte (Ricky) Delong of North Carolina; 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Carver of Columbus and Margaret Rickey of Chillicothe; brother, Robert Gilbert; several nieces and nephews and her three little dogs.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell W. Cremeans and a son, Wendell “Wink” Cremeans.

Virginia was a lifetime member of the Paint Creek Coon Hunters Club and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Bainbridge. She was a loving mother who enjoyed fishing and crocheting.

Virginia’s family will receive friends 11 am to 1 pm Friday at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with funeral services at 1 pm officiated by Carl Cremeans. Burial will follow in the Omega Cemetery.
