Virginia B. Wheeler

Virginia B. Wheeler, 83, of Frankfort, died on Thursday morning, June 5, 2014, at her daughter's home. She was born on June 17, 1930 in Frankfort, the daughter of the late Walter and Susan Keaton Johnson. On July 13, 1963 she married Homer P. Wheeler who preceded her in death on March 13, 2009.

She is survived by five children, Barbara (Rex) Hill of Chillicothe, Susan (Edward) Secrest of Frankfort, Wendell (Denise) Folden of Mesa AZ, Janice (Tony) Miller of Hillsboro, Kelly Francis of Chillicothe, eleven grandchildren, Christopher, Amy, Dawn, Sam and Alyssa Folden, Amanda Bayless, Justin Reisinger, Zachary Hill, Adam and Michael Pearson, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Goldie Anders, Myrtle Lowe, Mary Keaton, and two brothers, Carl and Pearl Johnson.

Virginia attended the Schaffer Road Christian Union Church of Waverly, and had worked as a cook for Westmoreland Place, Chillicothe, before retiring in 1984.

A funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Rev. Robert Haddox officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call on the Wheeler family on Monday from 6 to 8p.m..
