Walter F. "Frank" Posey

Walter F. “Frank” Posey 84, of Chillicothe passed from this life 11:30 pm Friday, August 16, 2024, at his home. He was born Friday, December 29, 1939, in Frankfort the son of the late Peter P. and Flora A. (Morris) Posey. On Friday, January 3, 1964, he married the former Alice L. Williams, who survives.

Also surviving are two children Melinda Posey and Scott (Suzanne) Posey; four grandchildren Morgan, Salina, Jonathan and Jeremy; three great grandchildren Andre, Isaiah and Avery; three brothers Gene (Ellen) Posey, Ronald (Karen) Posey, and Clark (Bonnie) Posey; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by two sisters Ella Mae Saunders and Anna Saunders. 

Frank was an Army Veteran and retired from Chilpaco. He enjoyed going to the Paxton Restaurant for his morning breakfast and afternoon coffee times. Frank also enjoyed working with metal, doing repair on small engines and deer hunting. He dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

There will be no calling hours or services observed.
