Wanda Kay McGrath

Wanda Kay (McClure) McGrath 50 of Bainbridge passed from this life Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at her home. She was born May 20, 1972 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Thomas Lee and Alice Marie (Woods) McClure.

She is survived by her husband John McGrath; daughter Ashley Hall; granddaughter Allison; stepdaughter Nikki Nicole McGrath; sisters Kathy Saunders and Tracy (Scott) Gragg; brothers Wayne (Dianne) Woods, Kevin Woods, John (MJ) McClure and Brad McClure; mother-in-law Judy Scott; sister-in-law Beverly Denney (Al Longoria) and brother-in-law Mark (Cherry) McGrath; nieces and nephews Jason, Casey, Clint, Tommie, Vanessa, Brittany, Chandler, Wil, Tom and Drew; and her dogs Angel, Obbie and Mia.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by paternal grandparents John and Gladys McClure; maternal grandparents John and Alma Woods; a sister Charity Cheadle and brothers-in-law Steve Cheadle and Mark Saunders.

Wanda loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and log sawing. She also enjoyed being with her family and her dogs. Wanda was also a past member of the Bainbridge Fire Dept.

In keeping Wanda’s wish she will be cremated, and celebration of life will be held Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Bainbridge United Methodist church from 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Paint Valley Ministries PO Box 528.
