Wanda Jean Myers

Wanda Jean Myers 81 of Bourneville went to be with the Lord 7:34 pm Monday, January 1, 2018 at Westmoreland Place, Chillicothe. She was born August 5, 1936 in South Shore, KY the daughter of the late Jerome Russell and Goldie Jean Broughton Stith. On April 13, 1955 she married David Raymond Myers, Jr. who survives.

She is also survived by her children Debbie Hudnell and Diane (Mike) Detty both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Shanda and Shawn Hudnell, Shane Thompson, Tyler (Emily) Merritt, Johnathon, Cassie and Holly Detty; great grandchildren, Madison and Hunter Thompson, Tylin, Braylin and Aydin Scales, Averie, Aviyon and Adelisha Detty, Chad and Erica Tryon and Ashley, Colin, Morgan and Lily Campagne; sisters, Lorraine Hodge and Louise (Leonard) Lee; brother, Robert (Emma) Stith; brother-in-law, Mike Myers and several nieces, nephew and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Felicia Nichole Detty.

Wanda enjoyed doing word puzzles, reading her bible and her church activities at the Bourneville Christian Union Church where she was a member for many many years. She retired after 47 years from Paint Valley Schools where she was loved by all.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Bourneville Christian Union Church with Pastor Darrell Allmon and Rev. Dave Maughmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 pm Wednesday at the church and 11am until the time of service at the church on Thursday.  The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
