Willard Emerson Brown

Willard Emerson Brown, 80, of South Salem, died on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was born on March 14, 1933 in Soldier, KY, the son of the late Lee and Hazel Day Brown. On March 15, 1982 he married the former Patricia Ann Case who preceded him in death on October 24, 2012.

He is survived by six daughters that include R. Lisa Brown, Rhea Lynette Kent, Reva Uhrig and Robin Archey all of Chillicothe, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and two brothers; Kenneth Brown of Chillicothe and Elwood Brown.

Emerson was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was an electrician and maintenance man.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. in South Salem Cemetery with Rev. Marland Penwell officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Concerned Veterans of Greenfield.
