William Anderson

William Eugene "Bill" Anderson, Jr. 64 of Chillicothe formerly of Bainbridge passed from this life in the early morning hours on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at his residence. He was born Friday, June 17, 1960, in Lynchburg, VA to William E. and Charlotte A. (Moritz) Anderson, Sr.

He is survived by his mother Charlotte of Chillicothe; brother-in-law David Bozick of Chillicothe; Uncle David (Lucy) Anderson of Bainbridge and numerous cousins.

In addition to his father Bill was preceded in death by his sister Ann L. Bozick; uncle Charles "Dink" Anderson and his wife Pat; uncle Donald "Jigger" Anderson and his wife Karen; and aunt Frances Chidester.

Bill was a 1978 graduate of Paint Valley High School, a graduate of Ohio University and Eastern New Mexico State where he studied archeology. He taught at Paint Valley High School and the Lighthouse Youth Center/Paint Creek Youth Center before taking a position at Pickaway Ross Joint Vocational School, where he taught until his retirement in 2022. He was also a member of the Bainbridge United Methodist Church.

He always enjoyed a good conversation and he never met a stranger. Bill was a lover of music and he could give you a history lesson on all of his favorite groups. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and by all those who had the privilege of calling him Mr. Anderson.

Bill's family would like to invite all his friends and students to gather in the Bainbridge Cemetery at 1 pm Tuesday, March 11, 2025, for a graveside service to honor Bill. Pastor Larry McCoy will be officiating the service.

Since Bill was known for helping and caring for others it has been suggested that In lieu of flowers please consider making a memorial gift to the funeral home to help with his funeral expenses. This would help his mother immensely in her time of great loss.
