WILLIAM H. CHEESEBREW

William H. Cheesebrew, 76, of Frankfort, died at his home, on Saturday, December 10, 2011. He was born in Point Pleasant, WV on August 16, 1935, the son of the late Arthur J. and Irene Sophia McKinney Cheesebrew. On November 11, 1955 he married the former Barbara Jean "BJ" Harrison and she survives.

Surviving are his children; Rob (Rhonda) Cheesebrew of Frankfort, Greg (Marina) Cheesebrew of Lewis Center, OH, grandchildren; Kelley Belcher, Ryan Cheesebrew, and Molly Cheesebrew, great-grandchildren; Branam, Sophie, and Ryder Cheesebrew, sisters; Wyona Pittman of York, PA, Barbara O'Brien of Grove City, OH, Carolee Hutchinson of Columbus, brother; Darrel (Yvonne) Cheesebrew of Columbus, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one infant brother and his best friend, Bud Merriman.

Bill worked as a teletype operator for the Associated Press for 38 years. He later worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Franklin County Sherriff's Office where he retired after many years of service. He was a veteran of United States Army.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with the Franklin County Sheriff's Chaplain, Father Leo Connolly officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort with military honors being accorded by the Frankfort American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8pm.
