William S "Bill" Starr

William S. "Bill" Starr, 80, of Frankfort, died Wednesday evening, January 11, 2012, at his home. He was born in Austin, Ohio on July 7, 1931 the son of the late James E. and Neva Helen Smith Starr. On June 24, 1953 he married the former Helen June McQuiniff, and she survives.

Also surviving are his children; Stillman (Dixie) Starr, Billy (Kathy) Starr, both of Washington C.H., Beth Ann (Mike) Rinehart of Chillicothe, Philip (Karilyn) Starr of Frankfort, John (Lynn) Starr, June (John) Kruger, both of Washington C.H., Donna (George) Ratcliff of McArthur, 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, brothers; Robert (Bea) Starr, James (Lois) Starr, both of Washington C.H., sister-in-law; Anna Lee Starr of Washington C.H., He was preceded in death by one brother; Thomas Starr.

Bill was a 1949 graduate of Frankfort High School. He was a farmer and avid gardener. Bill was a bus driver for Adena Schools for 25 years. He was a member of the Austin United Methodist Church and a member of the Ross County Cattlemen's Association. He was also a former member of the Grange and Farm Bureau.

Funeral service will be held Monday, January 16, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Chaplain Bruce Hines and Pastor Neil Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 5-8 p.m.. Memorial contributions are suggested to Adena Hospice, 111 W.
