Wylie "Toos" Knauff, Jr. 52 of Bainbridge died 10:51 am Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at his home. He was born August 4, 1961 in Ross County the son of Wylie and Katherine Wurzbach Knauff.
On February 20, 1999 he married the former Kim D. Hollon, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Katherine; three children, Matthew Wylie Oldham Knauff of Bainbridge, Sara Leann Hunt of Hillsboro and Caitlyn Jade-Ann Lovett of Rainsboro; three sisters, Karlene (Jeff) Kellis of Frankfort, Rocky (David) Countryman and Penny Elliott; two brothers, John Knauff (Lisa Stanley) and Dean (Dawn) Knauff; mother-in-law, Phyllis Hollon; sister-in-law, Monica Hollon all of Bainbridge; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece Lindsay Anderson; and his dog, Jackie.
In addition to his father, Toos was preceded in death by a sister, Monica Adams and a sister-in-law, Joyce Knauff.
Toos was a member of the Assembly of God in Bainbridge and the Paint Valley Loggers Chapter. He was a master logger completing six levels of the master loggers program. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved to garden, hunt and fish.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Bainbridge United Methodist Church with Pastor Rick Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with the Knauff family on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
